- Imagine having a tag called Notre-Dame de Paris. Its page will of course show everything explicitly labeled.
- Add a polygon-shaped location outlining the contour of the great building to your tag. Then create another one called Spire of Notre-Dame de Paris and mark it on the map — this surely will be inside that. Thus, everything labeled with this new tag will be shown, too.
- And finally — Reconstruction of Notre-Dame de Paris. Label it with Notre-Dame de Paris. See what happened?
Add more meaning to tagging with properties
- You can of course tag Spire of Notre-Dame de Paris simply with Eugène Viollet-le-Duc. But wouldn’t it be clearer to label this relationship as architect?
- Available properties are imported from Wikidata and configured by project administrators.
- In addition to tagging, properties can also be used with other types of card labels — locations, milestones, and plain text attributes.
Use catalogs for card grouping
- See them in tables, sorted by titles.
- Good examples would be People or Buildings or anything you wish.
- Configure which properties you want to add to the tables.
- Tags are grouped by catalogs in alphabetical lists.
Put cards on the map
- Assign locations to your cards
- See all cards within polygon-located tags
- Mark locations with tasks
- Choose tags from the map in editors
- Import places from OpenStreetMap
- Export data as GeoJSON
… and expect more geography to come.
