Aptuveni sešus gadus pēc projekta sākšanas Pārdaugavā atklāts Rīgas panorāmas rats. Viens brauciens ilgst 15 minūtes, un cena vienam pieaugušajam ir 17 eiro, studentiem un pensionāriem – 15 eiro, bet bērniem – 13 eiro. Jau pirmajā dienā pie rata izveidojās arī neliela cilvēku rinda.
