Nākamgad plānots sākt vērienīgus rekonstrukcijas darbus Svētā Pētera baznīcā. Tajā izbūvēs gan piebūvi un pagrabstāvu, gan jaunu kāpņu sistēmu tornim. Vācijas Bundestāgs baznīcas rekonstrukcijas projektam ir rezervējis 33 miljonus eiro.
